09/14/04 -- Due to insufficient reservations, we will not be able to offer the discounted tickets to Universal Studios or the D56 showroom tour. There are still plenty of things to do in Hollywood -- visit our Tours page for more information.
09/04/04 -- Our 2005 collectors calendar, "Celebrate," has been published and is available for sale at http://www.lulu.com/content/71502. This calendar features photos submitted to our photo contest by some very talented display artists and photographers.
09/03/04 -- Our photo contest winners have been announced! The 2005 calendar is just on the verge of being available for sale, and we've added some wonderful products to our webstore that feature photographs submitted by some very talented collectors.
08/28/04 -- Added more info to round table, speakers, make'n'take, sponsors, and the program pages. More tour information is available, including a self-guided Red-Line tour that will let you take in some Hollywood highlights and local color.
08/04/04 -- Added info to round table and speakers pages. The seminars page is all new. Added a page showing a few of the MANY prizes attendees can win at the gathering. Added photos of the 2002 event piece and pin to the registration page. Added information about nearby RV parks to the hotel page. Our most important change is the announcement of a new tour for Thursday. Department 56 has arranged for us to see their showroom in the L.A. Mart. See the tours page for complete information and sign-up form.
07/26/2004 -- Added several new sponsors and participants in the Swap'nSell. There have been a few changes and additions to our speakers, make'n'take sessions, and round table sessions. We've just learned that our block of specially-priced rooms at the hotel is sold out. If you haven't reserved, you may need to look at alternates. More information on this coming soon. We've also extended the deadline for entering the photo contest to August 15, so please get those photos in. Not sure they meet our guidelines? Just send them and let us worry about the format.
07/05/2004 -- We have a new look! As we added new pages, the cute little navigation buttons we used were making our pages too long and beginning to look not-so-cute - plus taking way too long to load. Our new design features a drop-down menu and a clean, white background that should make anything you print much easier to read.
We've also added a page for sponsors. These are people or businesses that have donated products to the gathering. In addition to being mentioned on our website, sponsors are also acknowledged in our printed program.
We've posted a little information about Casino Night. There's also a new page for Seminars -- but don't get excited -- it's still in pre-production.

swap/show n sell. Here's a sneak-preview
of one of our make'n'take sessions. Also
added a little information about round table
sessions. Clarified rules of the photo
contest -- you don't have to attend the gathering to enter.

-- We're having a photo contest! Twelve
winning photos will be chosen for printing on a 2005 calendar -- and maybe
some other special items.

-- We've opened our own storefront. You can
purchase shirts, toys, hats, and other merchandise directly from our distributor.
Our special guest artist will be Barbara Lund! You can find her bio on
our Dept56 page.
04/15/2004--
We've started adding vendors to the Swap'N'Sell
page. The display contest rules and entry
form have been added to the Display Contests
page. You can now make reservations at the Sheraton on-line -- detailed
instructions have been added to the Hotel page.
The Hollywood Nights Dinner will feature a production
of "Joey and Maria's Comedy Italian Wedding. We have details and
a photo of the Dickens Commemorative 20th Anniversary scarf on the
Dept56 page. We've chosen the Ronald McDonald House as our charity
for this year. More info about that on our main
page.
03/15/2004 --
We have a photo of the event pin! We've also added a scanned image of
the flyer that's being distributed. It's not pretty, but we're putting
it on our Registration page to make do
until we can create a good quality downloadable image.
Added a speakers page
where you can find out about seminar and Make 'n Take presenters as well
as our special guest from Department 56.

still under development, but we're pleased to be able to share with you
some of Department 56's plans for their participation in the event!
