Situated in the magnificent Hollywood Hills, on the back lot of famed Universal Studios Hollywood, the Sheraton Universal Hotel is often acclaimed as "The Hotel of the Stars." The hotel is only six miles from the Burbank Airport, twenty-four miles from the Los Angeles Airport, and conveniently located off major freeways, with easy access to many landmarks of Hollywood and the Los Angeles area.

Special room rate for the California Gold Gathering is $109.00 per night (exclusive of local taxes and fees), single or double occupancy. This special California Gold Gathering rate is available between September 19 and October 1, 2004, depending upon room availability, so plan to come early and stay late. The cutoff rate date to receive the CGG rate is August 22, 2004; however, only a limited number of rooms is available so please make your reservations as soon as possible.

Note: the hotel has informed us that all of our specially priced rooms have been booked. We've been told by some collectors that they've still been able to get reservations at the special rate. If you try to reserve a room either by phone or on-line, please pay special attention to the rate you are offered.

Hotel guest overnight parking rate (with in and out privileges) is $14.00 for self-parking and $19.00 for valet parking. The daily parking rate for non-hotel guests attending "Hooray for Hollywood" is $8.00 self-parking and $13.00 valet parking.

The Beverly Garland Holiday Inn is located near the North Hollywood Red Line station and offers a free shuttle to Universal Studios.
